My best friend Tammy has gone over to South Africa for a year to volunteer again in an Orphanage called TLC. Some of you might remember a little boy named Benji who had a serious burns accident and needed some help to meet his hospital bills and get the medical help he needed. Many thanks to all of you who contributed to this precious boy. I am happy to report he is doing really well and is back home with his family who run the orphange. The funds you all sent helped meet all of his ongoing costs, and the family are extrememly grateful for your assistance. So thank you all who helped.
Tammy just sent me these beautiful photos through of her 2 day Volunteers retreat, where the family take all the volunteers away for a Thank You trip. She said the animals were just wandering around amongst them. Can you imagine that? Look at the photos. Just so cute, and the zebras right near the pool, more photos below Dorothy too, as they all got mixed up lol.
And this is one of the little orphans, named Dorothy who has stolen Tammy's heart. I think she might be trying to work out a way to sneak this little tiny cutie back in her luggage next year. lol. I will keep you updated on what she is up to and if you want to find out a bit more about TLC, the you can visit their web site for more info here. Talk soon, Ali ox

Thanks for the update on Tammy, what a fantastic thing for her to be doing, I've enjoyed the photos, as for little Dorothy, I wouldn't blame Tammy for trying to sneak her back home, she's a little darling!!!
Glad of the Benji update, I often wonder how he's getting along
p.s. a bit trivial after reading your post Ali, but I'm having a giveaway, just in case you wanted to enter

Oh wow it looks amazing Ali! You've always spoken so highly of Tammy, please do keep us posted when you hear from her. Dorothy is such a cute little bundle, no wonder she might try to sneak her back to Oz.
I can't get over that pic of the zebras just roaming around near the pool!!! It's very surreal isn't it!
