Back in the Saddle!

Boy it felt good yesterday to have a lovely friend over and to start getting creative again. It has been soooo long since I have done any designing or creating. Pretty much since late last year. So yesterdays fun was very welcome and has helped me to enjoy a side to me that I had just about shut out. I just realised this post is number 99 so out of tradition, I will try and make the next one a giveaway post. Will have a think about it and let you know. Ok, as I promised in the last post, I have included some photos of my card making yesterday. I may look back in a few months and cringe at my first attempts lol, but hey, it has been about 6 months since I have done anything at all remotely creative. So here goes, be kind... ox Ali

New French Range!!
Just a very quick announcement to introduce my newest French Collage Card Range. Each card has been embellished with German Glass glitter which just adds a real vintage and 3 dimensional sparkly finish.

Also I have decided not to go ahead with the Markets now and instead have set up shop at home. So if there are any local ladies that are in need of a gift you are now welcome to come around once again. Welcome and I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Hello my lovely friends. I thought I had better write a quick post letting you know that I have, after many requests, added my shabby christmas cards to Miss Ali's and are available as a set of 4 as shown. They feature the beautiful artwork of my dear friend Natasha Burns as many of you would probably recognise. I personally don't celebrate Christmas anymore, since I learned of its origins in Pagan worship and the instructions in Scripture to not worship the God of Israel the way the Pagans do. I have however offered them on my wholesale site, and some of my retail customers wondered why they couldn't find them on Miss Ali's. I hummed and haaed (is that a word lol) about whether to offer them as I didn't feel comfortable giving the impression that I was for the whole thing. Anyway, they are there for all who would like some lol. Not sure how long they will last there though. If I feel convicted I will take them down. Anyway, just thought I better let everybody know where I stand. I don't want to make a big issue out of it just thought I would share a little of where I feel the Lord is leading me personally at the moment. We all have to decide for ourselves what is right and wrong and for me I choose to celebrate the Feasts and Days laid out in Scripture over those that are widely celebrated today. Grace locked in Car!!

We just had a big fright. Liam and Josh and Grace were outside packing the car up and Liam finished up putting his toys in and shut the boot, only to notice a little while later that he couldn’t find the keys, and he ended up looking in the car and none other than my precious Gracie was in there and had locked it from the inside with the keys inside. Oh my!!! I got such a fright, I was planning on smashing the window in to rescue my girl. She was happy to start with and had found a bottle of sunscreen which she found quite amusing. She opened the lid and poured it onto the seat and began to play in it. Smeared it on the windows and tasted it a few times. All the while I am frantically telling her to get the keys, ta mama lol. Press the button. She would just grin at me. She grabbed the keys a few times and held them up to the window for me as I was asking for them. It was so frustrating. She was kissing me through the window and I couldn’t even touch her face. Oh I hated the feeling of helplessness. Anyway RACQ finally came and opened it up. The man was pommy and was really lovely. He said it was the second one he had done today. The first one was 2 little twins lol. double trouble. Oh well, just thought I would fill you in. When she came out she was so hot and sweaty. I was thinking, well at least it is cool and not in the sun. Didn’t realise how hot it really was in there. She started to get upset near the end and probably wondered why I wasn’t getting her out. It was breaking my heart. Thankfully we have a great and understanding RACQ and rushed as fast as they could to rescue her. Ok, just thought i would get all that off my chest lol. Please anyone reading this, if you have young children, now might be the time for the lecture on not playing in the car, and make sure they know that children and keys aren't a good combination. Gracie is safe and sound and happy to be safe. My little Liam is on holidays for a few weeks so we have decided to have a little break from work life for a few days. I will be back online on Friday.
